Antonique Smith
Antonique is an American actress, singer and multi-talented artist has credits ranging across Broadway through TV and film and her personal R&B soul albums. Smith made her first acting performance in Sidney Lumet's 100 Centre Street, a TV show created by East Orange New Jersey native Antonique Smith in 2002. In 2005, she was featured in the role of Mimi in Broadway hit Rent. In 2007, she also appeared as the character Faith Evans on Julie Taymor's feature movie Across the Universe. In the following year, she showed off her acting and singing skills in Notorious. This role, which was highly acclaimed, earned Smith an abundance of critic reviews and prompted her to take on other roles in such films as 2011, for instance, Abduction featuring Taylor Lautner and Alfred Molina and 2011, Yelling to the Sky opposite Gabourey Sidibe and Zoe Kravitz.
