Kari Matchett Biography

 Kari Matchett is a Canadian actress, best known for appearing in movies like "Apartment Hunting,  Men with Brooms The Tree of Life.' She was raised in Spalding and graduated from high school in Alberta. Acting was something she learned about in her teens. She was a student at the National Theatre School' in Montreal. Later, she went to the Moscow Theatre School. She made her television debut in 1996, playing a supporting part in the Canadian show titled 'The Rez.' In the year 1996, she played a supporting role in the Canadian series called "The Rez.' She made her film debut in the late 1990s, with the film Papertrail. Then, she appeared in films like 'Men with Brooms’ 'Cypher', and others. In addition, she played supporting roles in television series' like "A Nero Wolfe Mystery' and  Blue Murder.' She was still appearing in films through the 2000s. However, her film appearances were smaller than her television ones. In 1998, she was given the role of the lead of Colleen Blessed on the Canadian drama series Power Play. The show received both critical and commercial acclaim and ran for two seasons and 26 episodes. For her part in the show, she was nominated to the Gemini Award. Jude Lyon Matchett was her first child. However, she did not reveal the father's name. According to some sources, her ex-boyfriend is of her son. Kari Matchett met T.W. Peacocke began dating Kari Matchett around the mid-1990s. They got married in the month of October 1998. The couple divorced in 2006 following their marriage was broken in the middle of the year.
