Deborah Rhea Seehorn Bio

 Deborah Rhea Seehorn (born May 12 1972) is an American actress from the United States. Her most well-known character is that of Kim Wexler, an attorney in AMC's Better Call Saul (2015-2018) and has twice been awarded the Satellite Award as Best Supporting Actress – Series, Miniseries or Television Film. She was also on the NBC series Whitney (2011–2013) and ABC's I'm with Her 2003-2004, and TNT's Franklin & Bash 2011–2014. Deborah Rhea Seehorn, a Norfolk native was born on 12 May in 1972. Her mother was the executive secretary for the United States Navy, her father was an agent with the Naval Investigative Service. The family was based in Washington, D.C., Arizona, Japan, and traveled extensively throughout her youth. Following in the footsteps of her father and grandmother who were artists, she began studying drawing, painting, and architecture from an early age. While she continued her pursuit of the visual arts, she also discovered an interest in acting. She was also introduced to modern theater during her time in college. She earned her degree from George Mason University in 1994 with a degree in Studio Art. Seehorn at the time of her college graduation and was looking to enter theater after being urged by her acting teacher. She was employed in ancillary positions in the theatre industry in D.C. to try to get noticed. She eventually got major parts in local theater productions but had for odd jobs in order to pay the bills and she was cast in several short instructional films. She soon began to be involved in more TV productions. Her role was often compared to Bea Arthur, whom she described as "very humorous," "sarcastic, and well-educated" women. But, the majority of these roles were short-run series cancelled after one or two seasons. Seehorn was chosen to play Better Call Saul, the Breaking Bad spinoff series. Seehorn plays Kim Wexler (a lawyer) and is the love interest for Saul Goodman, the aforementioned Jimmy McGill.
